Art in Gardens-McCelland Gardens Photography Course $129

Landscape Photography Course -Class Size Maximum 6 People (3 Hours)

Join us for a unique photography outing at the McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery. Set along a beautiful walking trail, the gardens feature over 100 striking, quirky, and awe-inspiring sculptures by some of the country’s leading artists.

Located just 40km from the CBD with easy access via the Eastlink freeway, this site is a photographer’s playground. We’ve chosen this location because every piece is unique, offering endless opportunities to interpret form and light. No two photographers see the same subject the same way—I can’t wait to see how you capture these incredible works.

We are scheduling our sessions for weekdays to avoid the weekend crowds. As the gardens are a popular spot for family picnics, visiting mid-week ensures we have a quieter, more relaxed environment for our photography.

What do I bring, and what level of skill do I need?

Your Camera (Obviously!) batteries and cards for lots of great photos. We cater to all skill levels, from novice to master photographers, and to individuals aged 9 to 99. Just bring your camera and your enthusiasm.

How many people are in the class, and how many teachers?

Unlike many Melbourne  Camera Schools, we prefer small groups. So we take a small group of six students and two teachers. So each student receives maximum attention.

Rain Policy

If extreme rain is forecast, we will advise 48 hours before the class and offer alternative dates or a refund of the class cost.

Please note, as a policy, Alwyns Photo School has NO minimum numbers to run a class. Every student is important and we will not cancel a class due to low numbers.
