Sports Photography is always a challenge. From the problems of where to stand to get the best views to what to use for an everchanging game.
We think we have answered all your needs with our new course.
With the assistance of the wonderful people at Panton Hill Football Club, we are proud to launch our newest Course.
Over three hours we will cover a live VFL football game from every aspect and angle. Our school venue is almost on the ground, giving us access to many camera angles from the grandstand to the goalposts.
Our team will be on hand to supply help and advice to get great shots and capture the best moments of what will, no doubt, be a thrilling game.
We start in our classroom beside the oval where we run through the best settings and practices for sports photography. Then we walk out to the oval for all the excitement of a VFL game. Unlike a huge stadium AFL match you will be incredibly close to the action you may have to occasionally duck!
We are not fixed to any one position on the ground so you can move to any camera angle you wish and we will be on hand to help.
What do I bring, and What level of skill do I need?
Your Camera (Obviously!) and batteries and cards for lots of great photos
Medium and large zooms and telephoto lenses are suggested for this class.
We cater to all skill levels, from novices to master photographers and ages 9 to 99. Just bring your camera and your enthusiasm.
How many people are in the class, and how many teachers?
Unlike many Melbourne Camera Schools, we prefer small groups. So we take a small group of up to eight students and two teachers. So each student receives maximum attention.
Rain Policy
If rain is forecast, we will go ahead with the class, its football!! Although we will bring rain covers for your cameras and umbrellas.
